Jack N' Jill - Clouds

Jack N' Jill has been getting a lot of positive reviews and ratings since the last few weeks. I did not really expect such a great response. I feel really happy to know that you all are enjoying the game so much. I have been repeatedly asked by many people if they could get more levels for it. So, I finally got myself to make a new world for the game - the clouds.

The clouds world has 20 levels like the rest of the 3 worlds in the game. This world introduces a new flying mechanic in the form of a "wings" powerup. Here are a few screenshots of the new update:

The new update should be available in a few hours on Google play and in a few days on the iOS and Mac App Stores.

Thank you for the great support you all have given Jack N' Jill. I hope that you all enjoy the newer levels as much as the rest of the game.

Jack N' Jill

Jack N' Jill is a one button platformer game. I wanted to make something that was more suitable for a touch screen this time around, and I enjoy playing (as well as making) platformers a lot. So a one button platformer seemed like a great idea. I also went for a more old school look and feel with the monochrome pixel art graphics and the retro music, as a tribute to the old platformers of the classic gameboy era (like Super Mario Land).

The object of the game is to help Jack find Jill, who is waiting at the end of each level. The game requires the player to tap (or in many cases to not tap) the screen at the right times in order to get past environmental obstacles and enemies.

Meteor Blaster is now available on the Ubuntu Software Center. If you have a machine running Ubuntu 12.04+ be sure to download it and try it out.

Porting and releasing Meteor Blaster onto Ubuntu was quite an enjoyable experience. Look out for more future releases of my games on the Ubuntu Software Center!

Helm Knight 2

Helm Knight 2 is an action platformer game which is a sequel to my old game, Helm Knight.

The premise of this game is pretty much the same as that of the first one. You control a small knight (Helm Knight) to fight enemies, overcome obstacles and collect the crystal at the end of each level to complete it. New gameplay features, like slopes, teleporting portals, enemy spawning portals and rock spawners have been introduced in order to make things more interesting.

There are overall 30 levels spanning across three different locations - the plains, the desert, and the mountains - just like the first game.
